FAQs

Where do you hunt?

Snow goose hunting is weather determined. Hunting package locations will vary based on the season and the migration patterns of the birds. Plans can be subject to change as the flocks move, so your flexibility of location is critical. Your hunt location will be dictated by the weather and the birds you are hunting.

Can a hunt be cancelled?

Yes, a hunt can be cancelled if it is in your best interest based on weather or conditions of the terrain. Your deposit can be applied to a hunt later in the year or in the following year in the event of an unlikely cancellation.

What do you get to do at the hunt?

The hunt is fully prepared before you arrive. You will bring your gun shells and we will do the rest!

What should you expect in the field?

Snow Goose and Water Fowl hunts are full day hunts. Generally the hunting day starts before the sun rises and lasts through an hour after sun rises so you get the most opportunity to take geese and water fowl on the move. You can spend the entire day in the field, pack in your lunch and most hunting fields are located within 30 miles from a restaurant.

Where do we go to get started in the mornings?

The night before your hunting day you will be alerted to where to meet. Fields are scouted in the evenings to determine where the flocks are resting and that determines the morning hunt location.

How many birds will we take?

On a good day of snow goose hunting you may take as many as 40 birds. If the migrating weather is good, and you are hunting in the middle of the migration you will take more birds on a good day.
