Fall Speckelbelly and snow goose hunts are an incredible experience in Arkansas. Despite all the attention given to Arkansas duck hunting, the goose hunting is just as exciting. Large concentrations of Speckelbelly and snow geese will stage in Arkansas on the wintering grounds. Hunts are held in December and January. With duck season in full swing there is very little hunting pressure on the geese. Low hunting pressure and large geese numbers create a great opportunity for limits of trophy specks and bonus snow geese. The Fallin Fowl Outfitters staff has a vast knowledge of the geese and their habits. The key to consistently produce limits of specks is to move to fresh feed fields daily. With a long list of landowner connections and access to private land we can provide some great fall goose hunting. Most of these hunts will be in rice or wheat fields out of layout blinds and pits when available. We set the decoys before sun up, and wait for the geese to return in the morning to feed. This is some of the best decoying action of the whole season!
